Last Saturday, Hill Country Family Services and the San Antonio Food Bank got together to offer a food distribution at Champion High School In Boerne. They were able to distribute food for about 500 homes:
But some folks didn't find out about this distribution until after it was over. Fortunately some of those who picked up food also shared with other neighbors, so those food supplies certainly reached many more homes.
If you know of neighbors who have needs right now, we recommend that they get in touch with the following charitable organizations that offer help with basic needs like food, clothes and other goods, and can let them know about upcoming distributions and other programs:

Also note that the First Baptist Church in Boerne is offering curbside meal pickup on Wednesday evenings for those who need a meal. Delivery is also available for those without transportation. Make your reservations using this form on their website.
And remember, Boerne ISD continues to offer meal pickup for all enrolled students. Parents can pick up food by providing student name and grade level for enrollment verification.
