Coronavirus tests available in Boerne tomorrow (May 1)

Tomorrow, Friday, May 1st, a mobile coronavirus testing site will be available at Champion High School for people with symptoms of COVID-19.

By way of the Boerne ISD website, the City of Boerne's Emergency Management Office gave notice that a mobile testing center for coronavirus will be at Champion High School tomorrow, Friday May 1st, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The tests are free, and do not require a doctor's prescription, but an appointment is required. Tests will not be administered to people who arrive without an appointment. To make an appointment, call 512-883-2400 or fill out the online form at txcovidtest.org.

COVID-19 symptoms include:

  • Fever
  • Dry cough
  • Fatigue
  • Chills
  • Muscle pain
  • Headache
  • Sore throat
  • Recent loss of sense of smell or taste

Spread the word, so that anyone who has those symptoms can register for tomorrow's testing opportunity.
