Due to the precautions for the outbreak of coronavirus-related disease (COVID-19), we will not get together for a "Plática Entre Vecinos" in the month of March.

We have planned our next meeting for Tuesday, April 21, at 7 p.m. at the Patrick Heath Public Library in Boerne.
Although we will not meet in person this month, at this challenging time it's even more important that our community stay united and that we look out for the well-being of our neighbors.
First, it's extremely important that we follow updates and instructions from public health authorities. We must be careful because there are cases of misinformation that are being passed around by social media, WhatsApp, etc. Reliable sources of information include the following:
- World Health Organization: https://www.who.int/emergencies/diseases/novel-coronavirus-2019
- Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC): https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/index.html
- Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS): https://dshs.texas.gov/coronavirus/
- San Antonio MetroHealth: https://www.sanantonio.gov/Health/News/Alerts/Coronavirus
Second, although it is important to maintain social distancing -- that is, keeping at least three feet of distance between individuals to avoid virus propagation -- it's also important that we look out for for our families and neighbors, above all those who are elderly or have immune deficiencies.
If you have questions, need help, or know of any neighbor with particular needs, let us know and we will share with the group, so we can work together to look for a way to help.
Take care of yourselves, and let's take care of our community!
